How it works
Chinese characters are converted to their pinyin romanization using the Ambect transliteration stage, with tone marks stripped to produce plain ASCII output. The country hint determines whether Simplified or Traditional character sets and regional conventions are applied.
Common Chinese corporate suffixes — 集团 (Group), 有限公司 (Limited), 股份 (Share) — are detected and stripped in the legal suffix stage, yielding a clean canonical name.
